Billing & trial

Trial and billing

How the 14-day trial works, what happens at the end, and how to upgrade.

What the trial includes

New signups get 14 days at Growth-level — every feature turned on, and the same limits Growth partners have: up to 50 active clients, 10 team members, 50 GB of document storage. No credit card required upfront.

What happens at trial end

  • You'll get email warnings 3 days out, 1 day out, and on the day it ends.
  • 3-day grace period after the trial ends. The workspace stays fully functional; a warning banner explains what's about to change.
  • After the grace window, the workspace goes read-only for major new creations. You (and your clients) can still see everything — no data is ever deleted, hidden, or paused. New clients, team invites, document uploads, and custom templates all pause until you pick a plan. Ongoing work — updating existing clients, messaging, marking steps done — continues normally.
  • Automation emails (weekly digest, quiet-client nudges, overdue reminders) also pause for expired trials so nobody gets a stale reminder about a stalled workspace.

Upgrading

Head to Settings → Upgrade to pick a plan. Billing is handled by Stripe — enter card, subscribe, your plan and limits update within seconds via webhook. Manage invoices, payment method, and cancellation from the same page via Manage Billing (opens the Stripe-hosted billing portal).

Plans

  • Founding — $49/mo, locked for life. Growth-level features and limits. First 25 MSPs only. See Founding membership.
  • Solo — $79/mo. 5 clients, 2 team members, 1 GB storage. Built-in templates only.
  • Starter — $149/mo. 10 clients, 3 team members, 10 GB storage. Adds automations.
  • Growth — $349/mo. 50 clients, 10 team members, 50 GB storage. Adds custom templates, portal analytics, hide-branding toggle.

Extending your trial

Trial extensions are handled case-by-case — email support@onboardl.io and we'll bump the deadline. Grace + expired-state behavior is the same as above.
